RISE

DESCRIPTION

This piece was entirely handcrafted. It is composed of two main parts: a robust wooden base that provides stability and visual weight, and an upper section made of movable iron elements that allow the silhouette of the sculpture to be transformed. The artwork also features two distinct faces, the front displays a unique design that contrasts with the back, inviting the viewer to explore different perspectives and interpretations depending on the angle from which it is observed.

There is no paint in this piece, every shade and texture comes solely from fire and meticulous hand-sanding.

INSPIRATION

From the fracture, strength is born, each scar a map of where I’ve been.

The cracks don’t break, they breathe, turning pain into light, and what was fallen learns to rise again.
